Copying Movies From a CrystalSky Display

Copying Movies From a CrystalSky Display

One of our customer asked us how to copy the movies he creates with the DJI GO App Editor on his CrystalSky display to be able to use on his computer. The easiest way to do this is to copy the files to a MicroSD card, but this process is not intuitive by any means unless you already have some experience with using the Android operating system.

The following steps walk you through exactly how to do this.

#1 From the Home Screen on the CrystalSky, tap on the Explorer icon

#2 Tap on Internal Memory

#3 – Tap on DJI

#4 Tap on dji.go.v4

#5 Tap on VideoEditor

#6 Tap on Production

#7 Hold down on the file you want to copy until the action box appears and then select Copy

#8 Tap on the Home link

#9 Tap on the SD card

#10 Tap on the Editor link in the menu bar and then select Paste from the pop-up Action menu

#11 Your file will then be copied for you

This may sound like a lot of work, but once you have done it a few times, it only takes a few seconds. We hope this helps.

This is exactly what I needed to be able to use my crystal sky monitor and get my edited videos from it to my laptop so I can use them for all the purposes I want.
Thanks for clearing this issue up for me.

I had forgotten to ask for future posts to see if there would be any new information.

connect directly with cable to PC solution: use a USB-microUSB cable. On your crystalsky press the (i) on the top left of the screen. On the small notification in the middle select “use as USB storage” tap the blue button “TURN ON USB STORAGE” to activate it. Your PC now will recognize it as a USB mass storage drive.
